What percent of Taiwans military/military leadership do you think has been compromised by China? With all the recent cases hitting the news it sure sounds like this is just the tip of the iceberg on this front…
I like to avoid cliches like 'tip of the iceberg" or use the 80/20 Rule. But I suspect it is retired officers who reach out to their former minions to make some extra money or "be on the right side history" As the culture changes, the military feels left out of discourse in public debates. The news media takes every accident as a tragedy and totally incompetent when in reality, all militaries around the world have accidents and deaths. The military is made fun of by the media and those who join as suckers or losers who could find nothing else to do in life.
