TAIPEI - The American conservative Grassroots Army has produced a cross section of recruiting advertisement videos from China, Russia and the U.S. military.

The Chinese and Russian advertisements display the brutality of war and the use of the hero archetype of protecting hearth and home and the little honey.

Classic propaganda that prepares young men with the mindset to kill.

The writer Michael Walsh wrote a brilliant book on why men fight to the death in Last Stands: Why Men Fight When All Is Lost (2020). Each chapter a grueling historical episode of buckets of testosterone.

I have warned my Taiwanese friends that Washington will have a panic attack when facing down China. With military modernization, China now has a plethora of anti-ship ballistic missiles (aircraft carrier killers) and anti-ship cruise missiles.

The U.S. will either get deeply entrenched to suffer massive casualties at sea (1 Aircraft Carrier = 5,000 personnel; more than was lost at 9/11);

OR

The U.S. will simply calculate the cost-benefit ratio of China’s rising hegemony as destiny.

Washington’s political chattering elites will use the post-modern nihilistic philosophy that God, Country, Family are dead. And so be it…

But what about Taiwan? The island only has 24 million people on it. Roughly the size of Shanghai or Tokyo or Seoul.

What about the members of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP)?

I imagine Tier 1 will be disappeared.

Tier 2 DPP? Possibly a mix of scenarios. Some will be imprisoned. Others will be allowed to live a semi-active life in Taiwan, but their families will not be allowed access to education, health care, etc.

If the DPP thinks that wrapping the Rainbow Flag around them to placate Washington to fight to the death for their progressive agenda, they are naive.

What about the pretty girls walking about?

War brides?

What is the answer to this equation: 250,000 Chinese troops + average ages between 18-22 + never had a girlfriend.

How would you celebrate the historic unification of Taiwan with Mother China?

Remember, you are now a hero for life.
