Richard Bitzinger, 67 (1956-2023), passed on 4 October of a stroke.
“Bitz” received a Masters degree from the Monterey Institute on International Affairs. During his career as an independent national security analyst, he was Associate Professor at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, Senior Fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies in Singapore and was employed by various institutions, including RAND Corporation and the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Affairs. He spent 10 years in the U.S Central Intelligence Agency. See CV below photograph:
