China's GJ-11 Stealth UAV
1:10 Ratio Model at 2024 Singapore Airshow
By Wendell Minnick (Whiskey Mike) 顏文德
TAIPEI - I was unfortunate not to attend this year’s Singapore Airshow, but my sources on the ground told me China was largely a no-show.
There were some models, such as the GJ-11 Sharp Sword stealth UAV (photographs included below).
Beyond that, China kept a very unusual low profile this year. Normally, Chinese defense companies pack the place and it is a great place to collect intelligence.
These photographs were provided by an old drinking buddy (click to enlarge):
The armed/reconnaissance tailless flying wing GJ-11 Sharp Sword (攻击-11 利剑) or Gongji-11 lì Jiàn) is built by Hongdu Aviation Industry Group (HAIG) under the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). AVIC is a Chinese state-owned aerospace and defense conglomerate.
The aircraft has two internal weapons bays with serrated weapon bay doors capable of a payload of up to 2,000 kilograms (4,400 lb). Powered by a single turbofan engine, yet unidentified, with a wingspan of 14 meters (45.9 feet), endurance and range unknown.

Those interested in Chinese UAV technology consider these four Chinese UAV books that are ALL copies of brochures from Chinese defense industry booths at airshows/defense expos from the Middle East to China that I have attended:
120-page Chinese Fixed-Wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (2016); 180-page More Chinese Fixed Wing UAVs(2019); 90-page Chinese Rotary/VTOL Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (2016): 165-page More Chinese Rotary and VTOL UAVs (2019).
Those interested in Taiwan UAV programs, please consider the 180-page book: Taiwan Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (2020).
Some Chinese drones carry pods, check out the 160-page Chinese Air-Launched Weapons & Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Targeting Pods (2019).
I also have new material that did not make it in the above book - the 300-page 2019 volumes in Chinese C4I/EW Vol. 1 and Vol 2 of interest for UAVs.
All books are indexed for research purposes.
