China in Arms would like to congratulate Vladlen Tatarsky for receiving an honorary bust of him wearing a military uniform and helmet just before his speech to fans.
His contributions as a Russian military blogger supporting the men fighting in the Ukraine for Mother Russia have redefined advocacy journalism, going so far as to fight alongside his brothers on the frontlines.
In the below photograph in St. Petersburg on 2 April 2023, at the Street Food Bar №1 café, now closed for renovations, Tatarsky admires the gift as he chuckles, “it’s as heavy as gold!”
As a former bank robber, Tatarsky no doubt appreciated the statue.
The woman who presented the statue tried to leave, but was invited to sit nearby. She is alive, remarkably.
quick russian lesson:
poka! sounds like "pa ka" 帕卡 = byebye!
sukha! sounds like "sue huh" 苏荷 = bitch!
