Auto Cleaner for Blood Covered Helmets
Taiwan Stays Ahead of the Curve for Post Combat Clean-Up
By Wendell Minnick (Whiskey Mike) 顏文德
TAIPEI - After a bloody battle and time for coffee, Taiwan bases now are installing cleaning machines to wash off the blood and mud and sweat.
For NT $50 (US $1.55) per helmet or pair of boots, that is, if you are crazy enough to carry loose change in your pockets in combat, a Taiwan soldier can pick out a candy bar and a soda while the machine goes to work.
I guess a more possible scenario will be some grunt throwing his helmet into the machine after his guard duty at noon.
