A Spider Web of Eyes and Ears
Why the South China Sea Belongs to China
By Wendell Minnick (Whiskey Mike) 顏文德
TAIPEI - Sometimes the devil is in the details and J. Michael Dahm has produced a document that cannot be ignored even if you turn a blind eye.
His report confirms that China’s spider web of interconnecting radar, signals intelligence (SigInt), Electronic Warfare (EW), and communications networks has locked down the South China Sea.
The Obama Administration should have never placated China’s claims that it owns an area of water the size of India. With no U.S. bases in the area, the report demonstrates the frustration the U.S. Navy will encounter via the freedom of the seas passage of ships now and in the future.
