TAIPEI - You can set your watch to this exercise. Tomb Sweeping Holiday coincides with a massive Chinese air and naval encirclement of Taiwan.
Beginning on 1 April, backed by a sizable Chinese naval presence of significant tonnage, the annual exercise gets more intimidating each year.
