Best Taiwan Military Shop Exceeds Expectations

Taipei - Finally, after living here for 25 years, there is a genuine military hobby shop that is reasonably priced and convenient. 28 Flying Team is largely a Taiwan Air Force aviation hobby shop, but includes Army and Navy aviation items: Taiwan Navy S-70 anti-submarine helicopters and Army AH-1W Cobra, AH-64E Apache, and UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters. Taiwan’s new Unmanned Aerial Vehicle patches are also now available.
The choice of patches range from official to weekend patches to fan designs. There are also flight jackets, rugs, hats, mugs, models, key tags, stickers, etc. Once again, reasonably priced (a first in Taiwan).
The manager Janice Kuo only asks that visitors give her a ring to make sure they are open before visiting. Normal hours are Monday-Sunday from 2:30pm to roughly 8pm. Hours can fluctuate during holidays and weekends and unexpected events occur sometimes. She can speak some basic English.
Conveniently located at the Nanjing/Fuhsing Road junction; Green/Brown MRT Line. I recommend taking Exit 2 on the Green Line and use your cell phone map to locate the store. The area appears easy to find on the below map, but there is a bit of a maze of alleys and lanes that crisscross in a confusing manner.
